Moose Den B&B is located in South Anchorage, Alaska, typically a 13-minute drive south from Ted Stevens International Airport (ANC).

• Driving about 6 minutes north of the B&B will take you to South Anchorage's commercial center, where Alaska's largest mall - Dimond Mall - is located, as well as Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Sam's Club, Costco, Sports Authority, Safeway, Fred Meyer's, Borders, restaurants, business parks and banks.
• Driving another 13 minutes further north will take you to downtown Anchorage.
• It's walking distance to Klatt Golf Driving Range, and 12 minutes drive to Anchorage Golf Course - perfect for golfers and golf tournaments.
• 11 minutes drive to the Alaska zoo.
• 10 minutes drive to Potter Marsh, the Shooting Range, and Turnagain Arm inlet.

Construction finished in June 2007.

In spite of its proximity to South Anchorage's commercial center and downtown Anchorage, the B&B is located in a serene 2-acre spread in the Klatt area adjacent to Turnagain Arm.  It is forested and surrounded by developed and undeveloped 1.0/2.0-acre lots.

All the rental rooms are on the first floor, each with their own private ceramic-tiled bathroom and 36” vanity.  The rooms are nearly identical and their rates are the same.  The queen beds have “memory-foam” mattresses. 

The great room, the 10-seat dining table, and a spacious kitchen with an island cooking range are located on the second floor.

A DSL connection with a wireless hub gives a strong wireless signal throughout the house.  A laptop computer and inkjet printer are available at the kitchen desk for guests.

All the rooms have a flat screen TV/Cable/DVD, a writing desk, a phone and alarm clock.

For guests who love to fish, the Deck Room has its own 5-cu.ft. chest freezer.  (No extra charge for guests staying 2 days or more.)
